Zrinka Ljutić: A Rising Star in Alpine Skiing
(Sun Valley, USA March 27th2025) Croatian alpine skier Zrinka Ljutić has secured the Slalom World Cup discipline globe, marking a major milestone in her rapidly evolving career. With her 10th-place finish at the World Cup Finals in Sun Valley, Idaho, she accumulated enough points to stay ahead of Katharina Liensberger (AUT) und Camille Rast (SUI), who finished second and third in the 2024/25 slalom standings.
At just 21 years old, Ljutić has quickly risen through the ranks, establishing herself as a top contender in slalom and giant slalom.
A key factor in her standout 2024/25 season was her transition to Atomic equipment. The switch proved instrumental, as she claimed her first World Cup podium in giant slalom with a second-place finish in Killington on November 30, 2024. She then dominated the slalom circuit with back-to-back wins in Semmering (December 29, 2024) and Kranjska Gora (January 5, 2025), cementing her position at the top of the discipline standings.
Ljutić’s rapid rise highlights her potential to become a dominant force in alpine skiing. Atomic proudly supports her with the equipment and support needed to compete at the highest level. As she continues to refine her skills and gain experience, the skiing world eagerly anticipates what the future holds for this exceptional young talent.
