Lucas Braathen Extends Partnership with Atomic

[Altenmarkt, Austria] – Ski manufacturer Atomic is pleased to announce the extension of its partnership with alpine skier Lucas Braathen. Lucas has committed to a new contract that will see him continue as a member of the Atomic alpine Redster team until 2028, spanning the next four seasons.

Since joining Atomic in 2019, Lucas has been an integral part of the team, showcasing outstanding success on the race course and demonstrating exceptional presence and character off the slopes. His contributions make him a respected and admired member of the Atomic family.

Christian Hoeflehner, Race Manager at Atomic, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “We are extremely excited to extend our partnership with Lucas. His exceptional talent and dedication continue to inspire us, and we look forward to supporting him on his journey!”

Lucas recently announced his return to the Alpine Skiing World Cup, representing the Brazilian Ski Federation. His contract extension until 2028 covers the upcoming World Championships in 2025 & 2027, as well as the Winter Olympics in 2026. Since joining Atomic in 2019, Lucas has achieved 5 World Cup victories, secured 12 top-3 results, and earned his first crystal globe. Atomic Serviceman Tor Schjetne will continue to collaborate with Lucas, ensuring he receives the best equipment and tuning possible.

Lucas Braathen added: “I am so pleased to announce that I’ve signed with Atomic until 2028. I just want to thank Atomic for supporting me, believing in me, and even more importantly: allowing me to shape the art of skiing. Let’s get into it these next couple of years.”

The extension of this partnership reaffirms Atomic's commitment to supporting talented athletes like Lucas Braathen as they strive for excellence on the global stage.
