Contract until 2026: Simen Krüger commits to Atomic

Two Olympic Gold medals, four Olympic medals in total, three medals at Nordic World Championships, nine World Cup victories, one U23 World Champion title – the success records of Simen Hegstad Krüger are nothing less than impressive. Atomic is beyond proud to announce that such a true champion decided to extend his partnership with the brand until 2026.

The new contract between Simen Hegstad Krüger and Atomic will run until the next Olympic season with the Games held in Milano/Cortina in 2026. "I wanted to continue my collaboration with Atomic, which I've been skiing on my entire senior career. I'm really satisfied with how the ski works and how Atomic always works hard to have the best possible ski. It's also fun and inspiring to be part of the development of new equipment. For example, the Gen S ski", the Norwegian explains his motivation for extending the partnership. The development of the Gen S ski is one success story as Simen immediately won the first World Cup race using that ski.

“Simen feels confident with the equipment. He is extensively involved in the development and can bring his ideas and inputs to product development. That is something that he and, of course, we highly appreciate”, Yann Vallet, Business Unit Director Nordic at Atomic, comments.

Apart from the obvious aim of every athlete to win medals and World Cup races, Simen has one big goal: The Nordic World Championships 2025 on home ground in Trondheim, where he wants to add another chapter of success to his career.

Six medals at seven Olympic Winter Games and World Championships make him one of the most successful Nordic athletes at major events.

Atomic has been building its reputation as a full-range supplier in cross-country skiing for years and has changed the skating world with the evolution of the Redster Gen S alongside the shift-in binding. The Austrian ski manufacturer regularly introduces developments that are impacting the sport and has been celebrating many notable successes on the World Cup circuit. Atomic is happy to continue with Simen Hegstad Krüger as part of the team.
