ATOMIC Highlights for the 2022/2023 season
An overview of the most prominent new products and innovation for winter 2022/2023:
Backland and Backland UL Skitouring Helmet
THE NEW ATOMIC BACKLAND HELMETS COMBINE PROTECTION, FUNCTIONALITY AND FIT FOR SKI TOURERS
For the 22-23 season, Atomic presents its first-ever ski touring helmet with the same tone-setting innovative ingenuity as usual. The Backland helmet is a lightweight touring model certified for winter sports, climbing, and cycling. It not only provides superior protection, but it also comes with no compromise in fit and functionality.
That said, it offers the best possible comfort for Skimo athletes and demanding ski tourers alike while being lightweight and equipped with all the important features. With its Shocksense Sensor, the Backland CTD version even features an SOS alert function and evaluates the impact of a crash on the helmet integrity.
Bent Freeski Family
WHERE ART MEETS FREESKIING
If you're a skier who sees the mountain as a blank canvas, then the new Bent Family for 22/23 has the brush with which to paint your masterpiece. Designed and developed with artist and legendary freeskier, Chris Benchetler, and validated by athletes on the Atomic Freeski Team. The award-winning signature ski that has evolved every season over the last 14 years today becomes a complete collection of freeride and freestyle skis, all built with the same playful progression that inspired the original.
Created with design input and feedback from some of the best park, pipe, and freeride athletes. The new Bent Family now brings together Atomic's entire Freeski range (including brand new models 85, 90, and 110) into a seven-member unit that covers every dimension of the future of freeskiing. From backcountry powder to freestyle park and pipe skiing, every ski in the Bent Family is built to amplify your spirit of expression with the mountain.
Redster Q /Cloud Q Series
THE ONE-SKI SOLUTION FOR ALL PISTE CONDITIONS
Redster Q combines World Cup-winning Revoshock technology with a broader waist for wider ambitions – it's the one-ski solution for all piste conditions, from the first chair to the last. The analogy to the gravel bike in the bicycle industry is spot-on: A high-performance construction for the (initially) groomed slopes with more versatility for changing surfaces.
On top of the line-up, the Atomic Redster Q9 Revoshock S combines high-end build characteristics with Revoshock to create an excellent ski for the changing conditions of all-day on-piste skiing. Revoshock keeps the ski stable, deflecting chatter and boosting out of the turns. Advanced to expert skiers who aren't interested in limitations will appreciate the Redster Q9's wider 75mm waist and Multi Radius Sidecut. Every turn is powerful and snappy. Whether it's GS arcs down a freshly groomed bowl or quick, variable turns through the bumps and chop of late afternoon. Ultrawall sidewalls keep you locked in with an edge hold that slices through any snow condition. At the same time, the Power Woodcore and the TI Powered Titanal laminate create a ski with unparalleled handling at any speed, all day, in any conditions on the groomers.
Atomic Backland Touring Boots
THE RIGHT FIT FOR EVERY SKITOURER
For the 22/23 season, Atomic expands its Backland ski touring boot segment by a number of models. The boot family is now divided into the Backland Ultimate (Race), the Backland UL models (Fast&Light), and the Backland models (Allround).
The Atomic Backland Carbon as the top model all-around boot offers an ideal balance of lightweight and climbing efficiency with a secure fit for superior downhill performance. Built for skiers seeking performance on the downhill, Prolite construction and new Cross Lace 2.0 closure system completely wraps the foot for improved foot and ankle hold. The Frictionless Pivot and Free/Lock 4.0 ski/walk mechanism provide a natural 74° range of movement for effortless ascents. A breathable and washable 3D Platinum Tour liner with Dry Fit Foam adds stiffness and uniformly envelops the foot for an outstanding first fit. New, two-stage DuraShield protects the liner from daily wear and tear.
Continuing to remain in the product range is also the free touring-oriented Hawx XTD family.
Hawx Magna Ski Boot Series
COMFORT AND INDIVIDUAL FIT FOR WIDER FEET
The overhauled Atomic Hawx Manga boot range represents highly anatomical ski boots featuring a wide, high-volume 102mm last, with a great fit right out of the box.
On top of the line is the Hawx Magna 130 S GW featuring Mimic. The revolutionary Mimic liner provides a 100% customizable fit and geometry that takes custom fitting to a new level. This fully customizable liner technology provides comfort, warmth, and responsiveness by precisely shaping to the foot and leg for a supreme fit.
The Prolite construction delivers powerful performance on the shell by adding reinforcement in critical zones of the lower shell and upper cuff while keeping the boot agile. Combined with an easier than ever step-in/step-out, this ski boot sets a new standard for all-day, everyday comfort.
