ATOMIC Backland touring skis – LESS IMPACT, MORE PERFORMANCE

Atomic launches the next generation of its successful Backland all-round touring ski line for the 2023/24 season. Based on extensive testing and research, including a scientific life cycle assessment, the skis have been completely redesigned with a lower impact construction that offers greater all-terrain versatility, more uphill efficiency, and better floatation in powder. Cutting CO2 emissions by 30%, the new Backland skis are built with more (locally sourced) wood and less metal, fiberglass, and resin. For the 2023/24 season, Atomic presents the next generation of its narrow Hawx Ultra XTD line renowned for blurring the line between all-mountain skiing and freeride touring. ATOMIC Four Pro HD PHOTO goggles – SEE BETTER, SKI BETTER

Launched in January 2023, the new Four Pro HD PHOTO goggles are edgy, urban-inspired performance goggles for progressive skiers in the backcountry, park, all-mountain and everywhere in between. Their cylindrical photochromic HD lenses automatically adjust their tint levels to respond to changing light conditions, delivering high-definition contrast and visibility whatever the weather and terrain. The new Sealed Lens System prevents fogging, while also making lens switches quick and easy. And a Live Fit Frame – compatible with prescription glasses – provides custom fit and comfort. ATOMIC Backland XTD Carbon 120 – BEST-SKIING TOURING BOOTS

For the 2023/24 season, Atomic extends its successful Backland boot range with new all-round touring boots designed to power wider touring skis and climb anything: Backland XTD. Featuring a completely new and powerful shell construction, higher cuff, beefier liner, and stiffer flex, the top-of-the line Backland XTD Carbon 120 (GW) and its female counterpart Backland XTD Carbon 115 W deliver exceptional downhill performance yet climb like true touring boots with unimpeded cuff mobility. They are built around a medium fit with high customization potential, and they are available in a touring norm version with full rubber soles for maximum traction and in a GripWalk version for maximum binding versatility. Flex options range from 100 to 120 (men’s) and from 85 to 115 (women’s) respectively.
